La quête de Zahra débute au moment où elle pousse la porte de la maison de sa grand-mère. Toutefois à y regarder de près, elle constate que plusieurs éléments diffèrent de ses souvenirs d’enfance. Elle se trouve alors submergée par le désir d’explorer ce manoir et de trouver sa mamie. En cherchant sa grand-mère, Zahra fait des rencontres, à la fois étonnantes et familières, qui la dirigent petit à petit à la résolution de son conflit intérieur et qui l’interpellent sur son identité de lesbienne, nord-africaine et soufi. Dans ce retour aux sources, on suit Zahra dans son odyssée initiatique, dont l’apogée sera ses retrouvailles avec sa grand-mère autochtone qui tient à lui faire un rituel amazigh pour l’apaiser. Ce face à face sera la pierre angulaire de la réconciliation intérieure de la protagoniste.

Zahra's initiatory journey begins when she opens the door of her grandmother's house. However, she soon notices that several elements differ from her childhood memories. Overwhelmed by the desire to explore the mansion and find her grandmother, Zahra encounters surprising and familiar figures who guide her toward resolving her inner conflicts and confronting her identity as a lesbian, North African and Sufi. Zahra's return to her roots culminates in her reunion with her indigenous grandmother, who is determined to perform an Amazigh ritual to soothe her. This encounter will be the cornerstone of Zahra's inner reconciliation.
